This Saturday, you can dance all day for a good cause at Seattle Dance 4 Diabetes in the U-District.
The Dance-a-Thon features a full day of dancing, starting with a laid-back yoga class. After that, you’ve got your choice of breakdancing, Bollywood, tango, zydeco, waltz and more. Just check the schedule for the type of dancing you want to do, or spend the whole day and learn them all.
The dance is part of a fundraising drive for the Pacific Northwest Diabetes Research Institute, so you are shakin’ your booty for a good cause. The event runs from 10AM-10PM at the University of Washington Tower at 4333 Brooklyn Ave NE. You can buy tickets or just donate on their site.
