Martin Luther King day is fast approaching, and unless you’re one of the lucky ones who doesn’t have to go to work on January 21st, you’ll probably need a few ideas on how to keep your little rascals entertained this three day weekend. In true Red Tricycle fashion, we’ve rounded up a list of fun and kid friendly activities that will buy you time in between getting the kids to their drop-off spot and you getting off work early.
Without further ado, here’s our list of 13 things to keep you and your kids busy this holiday weekend.
1. Take the kids to the Seattle Children’s Museum to learn about the legacy of Dr. King and his “I Have a Dream” speech.
2. Who doesn’t love inflatable structures, giant slides and obstacle courses?! All proceeds from Monday’s Bounce of Hope event will benefit uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
3. Dozens of model railroad displays and layouts, along with hands-on activities will be the highlight of this year’s Model Railway Show (now in it’s 39th year!).
