Hat ‘n’ Boots

Seattle’s eclectic Georgetown neighborhood is home to one of its most unique roadside attractions, the Hat ‘n’ Boots. Built in 1954 as part of a Western-themed gas station, these giant cowboy boots and hat have become icons of the neighborhood. The gas station is long gone, but there is certainly something fun about a 44′ wide cowboy hat and the dedication that the neighborhood had to preserving it.

The Hat ‘n Boots are now located in Georgetown’s Oxbow Park.
