The other night we were finishing up our weekend with a picnic at Volunteer Park in Capitol Hill. This is not our usual ‘hood – we live in the Phinney Ridge area, so getting out to new places is always a welcome change.
So, we were heading out of the park, past the Seattle Asian Art Museum, when I turned my head and shouted “stop!” All I can say is “wow” – what a great view of the Space Needle – especially at sunset.
(By the way, I’ve been linking back to our Capitol Hill neighborhood for awhile now, and I just realized the photo used in the findwell.com header is, funnily enough, a closer take of the same viewpoint that my husband took for this post!)
It’s definitely worth going beyond your usual stomping grounds to check out.
