The Volunteer Park Conservatory is a very special place to the people of Seattle. The Conservatory’s mission is to educate, collect and conserve threatened plants. The protected plants within the conservatory allow visitors to be transported to another world – viewing species from around the globe.
For a small entrance fee (to help maintain and sustain this 100 year old gem) you can take a tour through this magnificent building or book a group docent tour for a more in-depth horticulture lesson. Our favorite part? Their resident guardian cat has his own Facebook page!
