View from the Space Needle

We probably take the it for granted, because we get a great view of the landmark all the time. But when was the last time you got a view from the Space Needle?

There’s no better way to appreciate the beautiful city that we live in than by taking a ride up the glass elevator to the observation deck. You can see all the skyscrapers of downtown, the Olympic and Cascade mountains, Elliot Bay, Lake Union, and on a clear day, Mount Rainier. Complimentary telescopes help you zoom in on whatever catches your attention.

Prices are a bit steep ($18 for an adult, $11 for youth), so if you think you might want to go more than once, you should consider getting an unlimited pass, which will get you to the top once per day for an entire year. Either way, make sure you bring your camera so you can savor the view long after you’re back on the ground.
