Top Pot Doughnuts – Seattle Presidential Things to Do #88

At the end of most days, I lie awake and regret just one thing: That I didn’t make it to Top Pot Doughnuts. That was especially true on Thursday, since President Obama made a stop at their downtown location while he was in Seattle campaigning for our state’s senate candidate. If only I had given into that craving, I could have met him! Maybe even had a debate about the benefits of old-fashioned donuts versus crullers!

I can beat myself up all I want, but I certainly can’t blame him for making a quick pit-stop. With seven locations in the Puget Sound, dozens of flavors (try a sampler box like he did), house roasted coffee, and a friendly atmosphere, it would have been unpatriotic not to.

It’s time for you to do your civic duty: Go to Top Pot. Oh yeah, and vote in the election in a few weeks.
