Who doesn’t remember being a kid and hollering “balloon fight!” during a hot summer day? Well, now you can relive those bygone days with 12,000 other big kids and 300,000 water balloons this Saturday, August 17! The action all begins and ends at the Seattle Center in lower Queen Anne at the International Fountain and Fisher Plaza.
And, to make a great time even greater, folks will be accomplishing two other things while they relive their childhood: a potential new Guinness World Record and raising funds to send seriously ill children from Seattle Children’s Hospital to summer camp at Camp Korey.
To top the battle off, folks can hang out and enjoy a cold brew at the beer garden; a plethora of good eats from food trucks or the Armory; live entertainment and a whole bunch of summer camp activities! What’s not to like?
Participants must be 14 and up.
