Sunday Public Sails

We are surrounded by gorgeous vistas and beautiful waters, but how many of us actually get the chance to hop on “our” boat and see the city and surrounding areas by water? Well, you actually can, and no personal boat required!

Did you know the Center for Wooden Boats in South Lake Union has a FREE, public sail every Sunday? Yep, it’s true! Rain or shine, folks can come down to the Center and sign up for a ride. It might be on a sailboat, steam-powered vessel, electric boat, or otherwise, but no matter what, you can get out on the water. All you need to do is come down to the docks by 10AM and sign up. As long as they have the boats and manpower available, they’ll take you out for a 45-minute to an hour-long ride.

Not a bad deal, huh?
