When you’re looking for a fantastic view of Seattle and the surrounding Puget Sound area, most people direct you to the infamous Space Needle. But, did you know there’s another place in the city where you can take in stunning, 360-degree views, as well? It’s the Skyview Observatory! Located on floor 73 in the Columbia City Tower in downtown Seattle, the observatory is open seven days a week from 9AM-10PM. Folks can take a short elevator ride up to the 73rd floor, and for a relatively inexpensive price, take in the likes of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, the Olympics, the city of Seattle, Bellevue, the Cascades, Elliott Bay, and of course, the Space Needle!
Make sure to check it out next time you take a trip downtown!
