It is easy to pass by a homeless person and their cardboard sign without a glance. A couple of photographers have taken a closer look into the stories behind these signs, documenting the lives and history of Seattle’s homeless population. Their work will be auctioned off at the Sign of Hope Project Charity Photography Show this weekend in Sodo, with proceeds going to help feed the people photographed.
The photo show is free, and a number of homeless charity organizations will be onsite collecting donations. It runs from January 20-22, 2012 at URBAN enoteca, and you can get more details and register for the event ahead of time.
