Seattle is fortunate to have a plethora of film-going opportunities, from independent cinemas and chain movie theaters to festivals galore. Coming up next is Seattle’s very own Polish Film Festival at SIFF Cinema Uptown in Queen Anne.
Going into its 21st year, the festival is committed to bringing this unique part of the Polish culture to Seattle and the Puget Sound area. Attendees will discover screen gems that are both contemporary and classic, as well as films directed by, written about, and/or made up of actors from Poland. In 2013, the festival will also be highlighting the career of Roman Polanski.
Running from October 11-20, you have time to check out the lineup and decide what night you want to make a date or find a sitter so you can see what all the (warranted) fuss is about.
