Eighteen years in, the Seattle Jewish Film Festival has become a staple on the cinema and arts scene in the Pacific Northwest. Established in 1995, the festival highlights worldwide Israeli and Jewish life, complexity, history and culture through film. Among other special features, festival-goers will enjoy a series of nine films that look at Jewish individuals in the arts, from Broadway and graphic novels to cinema and photography. 2013 also marks the first year the 10-day festival is part of the Stroum Jewish Community Center, as its newest and largest program.
And don’t miss out on the Festival’s Launch Party, Wednesday, February 27, 7PM at the Palace Ballroom, hosted by Tom Douglas.
