Everyone loves a parade, and one of Seattle’s biggest, the Seafair Torchlight Parade is happening tonight, July 30, 2011 starting at 7:30PM in downtown Seattle.
The Torchlight Parade kicks off a long list of Seafair festivities and features giant helium balloons, drill teams, equestrian units, clowns, pirates and lots of marching bands.
The parade is very popular, with over 125,000 people expected to show up, so come early to secure your spot along the parade route. You can also get a preview of the parade floats and bands at Seattle Center this afternoon at the free “Taste of Torchlight” event.
