The Seattle Symphony is taking a break from Chopin and Bach for five performances of Sci-Fi at the Pops, featuring music from Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Avatar and Superman.
Hosted by Jonathan Frakes, or Star Trek’s William Riker as most will know him, the symphony will be conducted by guest conductor Victor Vanacore. There will also be a special tribute to Michael Jackson’s Thriller from the dance group Seattle Thrillers.
The performances are this week from October 13-16, 2011 at Benaroya Hall. Get your tickets here.
