Art, Music, and Power tools, Oh my! The Georgetown Carnival is coming to town! Georgetown prides itself on being eclectic – and this show is definitely that! This festival has all of the regulars; music, art, and food – but with the flavor of Georgetown.
Musical and sideshow performances include belly dancers, burlesque and a masquerade. Discover a new meaning of crafting with a game of “Splat-A-Paint” – a catapult painting activity, weave a masterpiece during a game of “Dodge and Weave”, or help weld the new Oxbow Park Community Sculpture! This definitely ain’t your grandma’s macramé.
There’s just too much to list so go here to see a full list of performances and activities. Or just head to the beer garden – there’ll be sure to be some awesome people-watching. Oh, and don’t forget the power tool race!
