Do you have a secret desire to race in the Indy 500? A number of famous race car drivers, like Danica Patrick, actually got their racing start in Go Karts, and you can give it a try at Pacific Grand Prix Motorsports Park in Kent, just south of Seattle.
The Go Karts at this outdoor race track are definitely not child’s play. (You have to be 15 to race them.) You’ll hit speeds of up to 40 mph at 3 inches off the ground. This outdoor track is open year round, and don’t let some rain deter you. When the track is wet, the karts drift all over the track like an ice rink, making it even more fun and challenging.
