Nothing says holiday cheer like half a million LED lights strung together at Garden d’Lights in Bellevue! Starting on November 27, the Bellevue Botanical Garden is transformed into a twinkling winter wonderland. Some of the light creations are downright amazing, with critters like a tortoise, a spider in her web and Willie the Slug. There are also huge scenes like a pond, a flowing river and two waterfalls, all made out of lights.
The display runs from November 27, 2010 through January 1, 2010 from 5PM-10PM every evening. It is wildly popular, drawing up to 10,000 people in a single night. It has become so popular that they are now selling advance reservation tickets so that you can plan your visit without waiting in line. Admission is $5 per person, with children 10 and under being free. There are also 9 evenings where it is free to everyone, but be sure to make advance reservations.
