What’s a more recognizable Northwest icon than it’s mighty evergreen trees? (We are the Evergreen State, you know.) Any jaunt outside of the city will reveal roadside timber artists that – with a “vroom vroom” and a “carve carve” transform these trees into truly amazing works of art. Many times you can meet the chain saw artist and see them at work. The George Kenny School of Chainsaw Carving in Allyn, WA even gives lessons.
