I’m guessing there is an AC/DC fan or two in Seattle. The EMP is hosting the only North American exibition of AC/DC: Australia’s Family Jewels, celebrating the history of one of the world’s greatest rock bands.
The exhibit features more than 400 artifacts including photos, instruments, gig posters, letters, lyrics and costumes. Yes, there will be an Angus Yound schoolboy outfit and even his “Super Ang” costume.
The exhibit opens on April 28, 2012 at the EMP Museum, with opening weekend special events like a concert from female AC/DC cover band Hell’s Belles and a lecture on Why AC/DC Matters from Rolling Stone writer Anthony Bozza.
Let there be rock!
